What better way to celebrate Independence Day than by ringing in the grand re-opening of Lady Liberty herself [1]? The Statue of Liberty [1] has been closed for months now after suffering severe damage at the hand of Hurricane Sandy, but the now the nation’s most famous symbol of freedom is ready to open [1] her arms once again to the huddling masses. The famous statue and Liberty Island have undergone some serious repairs and are set to re-open tomorrow [1] just in time for the 4th of July.
