Gallery: Stay the Night in Your Choice of Hobbit Hotel, Recycled Ship S...

We all know that Frodo Baggins and Samwise Gamgee head to Cabo for spring break, but when they feel like keeping their vacays low key, Woodlyn Park in Otorohanga, New Zealand is their getaway spot of choice. Not only is the idyllic resort home to the world's first green-roofed hobbit hotel (complete with specially designed hobbit furniture, of course), it also gives visitors the option to stay in a refurbished fighter plane chamber, a recycled rail car room or a remodeled ship suite! Click through our gallery to see each one of the accommodations and tell us which one you'd choose in the comments below.

Woodlyn Park began as a humble working farm but has now blossomed into a resort complete with four unique -and when we say unique, we mean unique – types of lodging, a restaurant and bar and a stage arena. The resort is only 700 meters from the area’s Waitomo Caves Village and just 2 minutes from the famous glow worm caves. In addition to the fact that most of the accommodations have been recycled, the hobbit hotel was built with an insulating material that gives it added warmth in the winter and keeps it cool during the summer.
