Steam Studio is a 1.2 x 1.5 x 1.5 meter glass cube that stands alone in the Swedish forest. Designed by artist Helle Kvamme, the mysterious structure is made of recycled windows and recycled plastic piping, and it explores how water affects us through its changing forms (as ice, steam and liquid). Channeling human tolerance for temperature, humidity and the seasonal changes, the makeshift studio fills with steam at certain intervals, provoking wonder and thought in those that pass by it.
