Gallery: StitchWorks Brings Together Artists and Designers to Create Pr...

StitchWorks is bringing together the non-profit design office GA Collaborative, Tiny Showcase Print Shop & Gallery along with 14 emerging visual artists together to create a series of fabric and print designs inspired by the work of the Rwandan women’s Association Dushyigikirane. Tiny Showcase has printed and released the fabric series over the last three months and are currently on display at their gallery. The StitchWorks project raises funds for housing and community buildings in Masoro, Rwanda, home to the association. Proceeds from the sale of each 12” x 12” print (available for purchase on their website) will be used to build housing prototypes and provide design and construction education for the Masoro association and community.
