Anything is better than waking up before the crack of dawn to stand in line with thousands of possessed shoppers on Black Friday [1], according to the folks from the Story of Stuff [2]. And to illustrate their point, they’ve created a short video accompanied by happy-go-lucky christmas music that shows shoppers beating, pushing, and racing each other in impossibly claustrophobic stores – all just to save a little money buying stuff that will probably end up in the landfill [3] anyway. Hit the jump to watch the flick if you need further convincing that staying home with family or going for a hike is definitely the better option.
