Re-Imagine, a new line of brightly-colored refurbished chairs from London design studio Studiomama [2], is a project born out of questioning our resourcefulness and our attitudes towards waste. It builds on the Studiomama’s interest in re-using existing materials and resources, and speaks of our ability to see the potential in the overlooked and unloved. Re-Imagine encourages us to look again at the unloved furniture in our homes, streets and markets, and to make them new again. Studiomama displayed its new series of hacked chairs at 19 Greek Street Gallery House [3] during the London Design Festival.
