		<description>Hey, I&#039;m so glad they are doing this.  However, you guys shouldn&#039;t forget to mention where the idea came from.  The car free streets and the idea for the NYC SUMMER STREETS come from Colombia (yes, south america) where more than 30 years ago the first car free street became available in Bogotá on Sundays.  Now in almost every major city in Colombia every Sunday main streets are closed for cars so pedestrians and people can walk, bike, run, exercise and have fun around the city for 8 hours.

Glad NYC is starting this too! Love that city!</description>
