Super Cool Pendant Light Made from Hundreds of Soda Tabs

We’re not sure whether or not designer Mauricio Affonso actually drank the hundreds of pops (or sodas depending on where you’re from) to get the materials to make this ultra mod pendant lamp but it’s so cool-looking that we don’t really care. Made from a mound of soda can pull tabs, the POP pendant lamp has a modern sensibility with a quirky edge. Affonso sent us his 15″ spherical pendant lamp as an entry in the Spring Greening Contest asking designers to take an old piece of junk and transform it into something innovative and useful – if you dig it, vote for it now!
