Super Cool Pendant Light Made from Hundreds of Soda Tabs

We’re not sure whether or not designer Mauricio Affonso [5] actually drank the hundreds of pops (or sodas depending on where you’re from) to get the materials to make this ultra mod pendant lamp but it’s so cool-looking that we don’t really care. Made from a mound of soda can pull tabs, the POP pendant lamp has a modern sensibility with a quirky edge. Affonso sent us his 15″ spherical pendant lamp as an entry in the Spring Greening Contest [6] asking designers to take an old piece of junk and transform it into something innovative and useful – if you dig it, vote for it now!
