Founded by designer Sarah Ratty, Ciel is a UK-based environmentally conscious fashion label with a festive party style, and a celebrity client list to match — including Cate Blanchett, Sienna Miller, and Zoe Ball. The current Fall/Winter collection features shimmery evening satin looks, super soft organic cotton t-shirts, and cozy, hand-knit items to warm the body on the chilliest of days.

In 2007, Ciel won the prestigious Ethical Fashion Award and was named one of the UK’s first carbon neutral fashion companies by London Fashion Week.

The collection is produced using 100% Azo-free dyes, recycled fabrics or fabrics certified by ‘Oekotex’ and ‘Confidence in Textiles’. On top of all that, 3% of the company’s profits go to animal and environmentally-oriented charities and Sarah works closely with her production factories to ensure fair labor practices.
