The hipster Sjakket House for Copenhagen's immigrant youth used to be a rundown and moldy factory building, but it also had a historic twin-peak design that the city wasn't prepared to lose. JDS Architects was tasked with re-inventing the old factory without destroying the gables - which is exactly what they did. By gutting the interior space and adding a little secret gathering space in between the two vaulted buildings, JDS created an inspiring place for the cool cats of Copenhagen to hang.
