Juan Carlos Menacho Durán designed this beautiful Chinese Coin House in Santa Cruz, Bolivia using the same principles applied to ancient Egyptian pyramids, the Eiffel tower, and even the bodies of bees and humans. Topped with a green roof, the house features a spiraling structure designed to provide the ultimate harmonious living space for its residents.
The home was carefully oriented to ensure that electromagnetic lines irradiating low intensity gamma rays do not penetrate the interior while extensive glazing permits plenty of natural lighting . And the interior functions were designed to correspond with the four cardinal points.
The swirling green roof creates continuity between the house and its surrounding landscape, as well as insulation for the interior. Finally, the main door of the house was situated in such as way to attract chi, the vital energy, that is distributed equally throughout the home.
