Winner of the iF Design Award in 2010, My Eco Can is a cool portable cup that is completely biodegradable. Cleverly shaped like a soda can to stand out amongst all those drab tumblers, each cup is made from PLA; a natural corn starch-based material that has the benefits of plastic properties, but no petroleum components. This quirky design looks like the perfect travel cup for all those cold summer drinks to come!

The first time we encountered these jiggly JELLOWARE cups, we were pretty enamored with them, so we’re psyched to announce that they could be going from concept to actual product. New York based design consultancy, The Way We See The World, debuted the biodegradable and edible cups as entrants in the GSS Jell-O Mold Competition, but upon seeing the enormously positive feedback people had for the wiggly wares, they decided to take their idea a step further. They recently launched a Kickstarter campaign to develop, prototype and user test JELLOWARE, and they could really use your help. We’ve been touting biodegradable tableware for some time now, but these wiggly cups made of Jello take things to the next level! Conceived by design consultancy The Way We See the World for the 2nd annual Jell-O Mold competition hosted by Gowanus Studio Space, the squishy cups are actually made of agar agar and come in yummy flavors like lemon-basil, ginger-mint, and rosemary-beet. When you’re done drinking from your Jello cup, just chuck it in the grass (agar agar actually nourishes plant life) or dispose of it in a more enjoyable fashion – eat it!
