<p>Ghanian artist El Anatsui recently brought his distinctive style to New York&#8217;s High Line park with a <a href="http://inhabitat.com/nyc/el-anatsuis-broken-bridge-ii-is-a-tapestry-of-tin-and-mirrors-on-the-high-line/el-anatsui/?extend=1">striking tapestry of tin and mirrors</a> that seems to shatter the side of the building it adorns. Called <a href="http://inhabitat.com/nyc/el-anatsuis-broken-bridge-ii-is-a-tapestry-of-tin-and-mirrors-on-the-high-line/el-anatsui/?extend=1">Broken Bridge II</a>, the temporary installation uses recycled tin that has the ability to be reused again after the the work is dismantled. <p>Section two of <a href="http://inhabitat.com/nyc/exclusive-photos-of-new-york-citys-high-line-park-section-2/">New York City&#8217;s High Line Park</a> opened recently to great acclaim, and <a href="http://inhabitat.com/about">Team Inhabitat</a> were among the first to catch a glimpse of this amazing new green space! <a href="http://inhabitat.com/nyc/exclusive-photos-of-new-york-citys-high-line-park-section-2/">The High Line</a> is a renovated train track that has been turned into a gorgeous greenway in the sky on the West side of Manhattan near the Hudson River. Conceived of by <a href="http://www.thehighline.org/about/friends-of-the-high-line">Friends of the High Line</a> and executed by <a href="http://inhabitat.com/interview-architect-james-corner-on-the-design-of-high-line/">James Corner Field Operations</a> and <a href="http://www.dsrny.com/">Diller, Scofidio and Renfro</a> for the City of <a href="http://inhabitat.com/nyc">New York</a>, the High Line is one of our favorite urban spaces. <p>Initial design plans have been revealed for the third and final section of everyone&#8217;s favorite elevated park, <a href="http://inhabitat.com/nyc/designs-unveiled-for-the-final-section-of-the-high-line/" target="_blank">New York City&#8217;s High Line</a>! At a community meeting last night, <a href="http://thehighline.org/blog/2012/03/13/first-designs-for-the-high-line-at-the-rail-yards" target="_blank">Friends of the High Line</a> unveiled several colorful renderings from architects <a href="http://www.fieldoperations.net/" target="_blank">James Corner Field Operations</a> and <a href="http://www.dsrny.com/" target="_blank">Diller Scofidio + Renfro</a>. The park&#8217;s third section will wrap around the forthcoming Hudson Yards development and be closely integrated with the new buildings. From the looks of it, the new section will include some familiar elements as well as some brand new features.
