Can’t get enough of the Metropol Parasol? Neither can we, and we just love this new video narrative of the urban sculpture. Filmed by Brazilian artist Pedro Kok, the short video produced for Domus shows how the people of Seville are embracing their new promenade. Stunning views of the city are visible from the top of the structure and cool, luxurious shade is available below. At night, the new giant-scale structure is a hot bed of activity.

The Bergen Safe House was built in just 4 days as part of the Bergen International Wood Festival in Norway. Created by Dutch architects Max Rink and Simon de Jong and designer Rachel Griffin, the temporary structure is made from pine wood with a charred exterior to protect it from the elements. Inside, the fire-proof structure features movable platforms that can accommodate a variety of activities and can fit up to 28 people.

The building you see above may look like a gigantic piece of shredded wheat, but it’s actually a (very) non-traditional tennis complex for Vaxjo, Sweden! David Tajchman, a Paris-based firm, designed the aptly named Tennicalator to be made out of locally sourced wood as part of an international design competition, but the woven facade isn’t the only cool thing about it. Since the area and neighboring buildings have a strong connection with the surrounding nature, David Tajchman  decided to take the Tenniscalator vertical instead of horizontal, leaving the remaining land for beautiful gardens and manicured grounds.
