Gallery: Temporary Timber Huts Pop Up at the Red Bull Music Festival in...

Japan's tsunami and earthquake in 2011 came with a host of tragic consequences for the country's residents, but there were other, more superficial ripple effects as well. The annual nomadic Red Bull Music Academy (RBMA) music festival was scheduled to take place in Tokyo that year, so the organizers had to completely change their plan. With just five months to plan and two months to build enough studio and office space for 60 music professionals from around the world, Langarita-Navarro Arquitectos filled an old warehouse with a series of wonderful timber huts and sandbag walls to create a one-of-a-kind recyclable music venue.
