Hikender is right here…

Both cars ran into issues, either power or heating or breaking issues. Sure, they played it up to make it more interesting to the viewer, but it's a TV show... that's what they're supposed to do. Also, the three hosts do NOT make up "The Stig"... The Stig is an entirely separate character in the show. Thing is… nothing that Top Gear said was untrue. Also, the three hosts do NOT make up “The Stig”… The Stig is an entirely separate character in the show.
