Designed for the Los Angeles landscape, the Backyard House translates the typical backyard and its corresponding parts into a residence that seamlessly fuses the indoors with the outdoors. A small hot tub visually connects to the main pool at grade, while a grass roof provides expanded space for recreation. The ribbon of terrain wraps the house, creating a carpet capable of facilitating a multitude of activities.
