Welcome to the 21st century where the phones are smart, the computers are tiny, and the limbs are bionic. RSL Steeper’s new bebionic3 hand is the newest incarnation of the company’s prosthetic. Capable of holding up to 99 lbs and sensitive enough to write, the hand is controlled through sensors in the user’s skin. The hand is able to form 14 different grips, greatly improving upon the old hook and pincer models of yesteryear.

    Wondering how much problems with insurance company paying for this bebonic3. I do have Health Plus. I’m 61 yrs old lost my do to hunting accident November 17,2012. Drs. took hand off at the wrist still having phantom pain fill like have brass knuckles on. Had nerve surgery for neoaromas bottom of forearm 7 inch cut and 3 inch on top 3 remove on wrist now I have more not having no more surgery.Plastic surgeon in Ann Arbor Michigan wrote for this hand that’s why I doing this to get some type of answers.
