In order to make it possible for people to walk around the truck’s flatbed, on which the room for two has been created, Walter had to raise the roof by a whole foot. Everything inside the room has been recycled [1], including the hearth, which was a snooker table in its previous life and the staircase that is a repurposed fire escape!

Every effort has been made to ensure that the room is as cozy and comfortable as any boutique stay would be. There’s a desk and a kitchen sink, and even a giant reading chair completely with an oil lamp. The room can be booked through Canopy & Stars [2] and goes for roughly £60 per night. Apparently it comes highly recommended.
