The Swiss Institute of Industrial Design displayed an interactive installation that created sweet sounds from their wooden, glass, and ceramic objects.

This year’s DMY featured many flat-pack, no-glue no-screws designs, but the most intriguing was Gustav Duesing 23D chair made from interlocking pieces of birch plywood.

Jolan Van Der Wiels unveiled a set of spiky candle holders made using the same crazy magnetic shaping technique used to form his gravity defying stools.

Repurposed materials were also big this year – these beautiful sparkling lights are made by Findelkind from repurposed cooking whisks.
