Traditionally a beach chair from the Mexican town of Acapulco, the seat has been coated with a recycled UV filtered PVC woven cord, ensuring it is versatile enough to be used indoors and out!

This classic Acapulco Chair – a celebrated 1950’s design – has been re-imagined by The Common Project with a fantastic sustainable twist. The Common Project updated the traditional beach chair from the Mexican town of Acapulco with a seat made of recycled UV-filtered PVC woven cord, ensuring it is versatile enough to be used indoors and out!
