Dutch designer Marjan Van Aubel [1] has created a collection of everyday objects that are all infused with solar panels! Her cleverly titled Energy Collection [2] is a series of glasses and tableware that are imbued with a photovoltaic layer of dye synthesized solar cells. Once they have been used, the objects are returned to a cabinet which acts as an energy storing unit and can provide power to appliances and other electronic devices.
