Perhaps the most unique aspect of this house is a number of small hills [5] that surround it and provide a depth perception to the flat landscape when looking out. A nice detail is that the architects made each family member choose trees or shrubs they liked, and plant them next to the hills. The interiors are light, airy [6], and made from local wood.

The life of the family centers on the LDK (living-dining-kitchen area), a space in close connection with the surrounding nature. From the LDK inhabitants could feel a passing breeze [7] thanks to cross-ventilation and admire the peaceful views an all four directions. And the liberated atmosphere gets even better, there are so few passersby in the rural area [8] that the house don’t even need curtains!
