The Lovely Villas Taribini is the Epitome of Warm Sustainable Ambience

When sitting in your cubicle imagining the perfect place to put up your feet and drink a lovely glass of red wine, it may very well be the Villa Taribini you're dreaming about. Using mostly local stone for shaping, and finished off with timber to give the villa comfort and warmth, Sanzpont Arquitectura has created the ultimate getaway that also respects its natural environment.
The buildings are oriented in order to ensure the right amount of solar gain during all seasons, keeping them warm during winter but sufficiently cool during the summer. Upstairs, the white walls act as an additional reflective shield. Site location was chosen very carefully to minimize displacement of flora, and also to ensure a certain amount of continuity between nature and the villas.
Stone gives the buildings their shape, while timber gives them their ambience. The wood has been sculpted to facilitate plenty of air flow and light, maximizing energy efficiency and the cozy factor. The louvers also slide and shift, further controlling how much light and warmth penetrate the inside.
