Gallery: The World’s First 3D Printed Room is a Mind-Boggling Baroque I...

3D printing has shaken up the worlds of medicine and design, and now it's architecture’s time to shine. Michael Hansmeyer and Benjamin Dillenburger recently unveiled the world's first 3D printed room! The elaborate 11-ton installation is printed with millions of incredibly detailed surfaces, and it stands almost 11 feet tall by 52 feet wide.

    Wow this could bring ornamentation back into contemporary architecture! Fractal Design implementation could probably become feasible through this!
