Did you know that there are only 3,200 tigers left in the wild today? Between loss of prey and habitat, and being hunted to near-extinction (since many people mistakenly believe that tiger body parts have magical medicinal or aphrodisiacal properties), this majestic species is close to being lost to the world forever. Quagga is launching a limited edition line of vegan leather wallets to raise both awareness of tigers’ plight, and to raise funds towards their conservation. 3,200 wallets will be made in total, to mirror the number of wild tigers left alive, and proceeds from their sale will be used to expand their product line in order to help other endangered animal species in total. Check out Quagga’s Kickstarter campaign for more information, and be sure to visit (and share!) their YouTube video as well.
