This Fantastic Paper Globe by The Makerie Studio Can Be Taken Apart and Re-assembled Like a Puzzle
Posted By Helen Morgan On December 13, 2012 @ 4:20 pm In Art | No Comments

Paper sculptors The Makerie Studio [4]created this beautiful paper globe puzzle for photographer Andrew Barter as part of the Freshfield’s 2012 promotional campaign. The globe consists of just 12 precise slices, and is a beautifully simple paper sculpture [5] of a complex concept.

The collaborative The Makerie Studio [4] team is made up of Julie Wilkinson and Joyanne Horscroft, who work together to create unique three-dimensional paper sculptures for creative and commercial purposes alike. The duo say they are inspired by “forgotten worlds, rare prints and the beauty of details” and create distinctive pieces using uniquely developed techniques and a passion for paper.
