Thomas Troisch’s Beautiful Coffee Table is Built from Salvaged Wood and Copper

Salvaged elements of rustic beauty and heavy industry fuse together to create this beautiful recycled coffee table by designer Thomas Troisch . Troisch lives in a port city, and he drew inspiration for his piece from the by-gone era of majestic ocean-liners, with their polished wooden decks and hand-hammered copper boiler plates. To create the table, the designer combined a single 6 x 3½′, 3″ thick salvaged ponderosa pine slab top with an all-copper base, stacking them into a design infused with the spirit of recycling.
