In addition to its small footprint of 70 square meters, the small timber house on the western side of the Isle of Skye in Scotland makes optimum use of natural light and ventilation in order to keep its carbon footprint low as well.
The home is tapered towards the north, cutting its overall square footage, and boasts full glazing that allows for winter time solar gain and natural light. Windows foster additional daylighting throughout the double story holiday house that has framed views of a magical natural environment.
