Gallery: Tiny, Ultraportable ESCAPE Cabin Can be Moved Anywhere Just Li...

ESCAPE is an adorable RV in Canoe Bay that looks just like a tiny cabin! Clad in sustainably harvested timber inside and out, the cute cabin can be placed just about anywhere and moved as necessary. The eco-conscious RV packs a lot of living space in just 400 square feet, making it the perfect vacation cottage.

With the idea that bigger is not better, ESCAPE was design with the sensibilities of Frank Lloyd Wright in mind. Although ESCAPE is truly a mobile home, the attention to detail makes the cedar-lined structure seem more like a rustic cabin escape. The hand-made cabin can be delivered to any site, and quickly set up, just by plugging in the utilities. Outside, a deluxe screened in porch allows for a comfortable outdoor living room or even a sleeping room. The red and white striped double chaise is heated, to keep guests comfortable in any whether, without wasting energy by heating the whole room.

Inside, the customizable cabin has vaulted ceilings, giving an open and airy feeling that also encourages natural ventilation. Energy Star appliances keep costs low, while a fireplace can be lit for extra heat. Ample storage closets and hanging space extend throughout to keep minimal living easy. A modern bathroom and LED lights keep things comfortable.

The ESCAPE is a symbol of modern living, where energy efficiency and minimalism are met with the comforts of good design.

I love this one. So many tiny houses seem to much like a small trailer, this feels more like a small condo.

This is super cool BUT …NOTE TO WRITER..EDITOR ….Please stop using rv and mobile home interchangeably. ….a recreational vehicle= rv and has an engine and a drivers seat…thank you. This story has been sent all over the web as look at this rv…it is a mobile home people! Just had to let that out…thanks!

A really pricey trailer home (not an RV), but it certainly is beautiful. $79,000 base for those who didn’t click the link. “Classic” version $99.990. (HINT: click the link) I drooled over various amazing trailers like the Tiny Homes, but finally bought a used traditional one I could afford for $9000. The benefit is– I can sleep at night.

LOVE this!!!! What are the dimensions?

  15. Gerry Neumann February 27, 2014 at 8:07 pm

An RV would have an engine and a steering wheel? It may be a mobile home or camper, but it is not an RV.

  16. cowlsey February 26, 2014 at 6:50 pm

So, this can be pulled like a camper?

  17. SOmeone February 25, 2014 at 11:05 am

Very nice, very cute, however, it is a trailer home, not an RV, an RV has a motor and wheels (Recreational Vehicle). Are there more than one design layout???

  18. Hedy February 24, 2014 at 10:32 am

  23. wkb2texans February 22, 2014 at 9:53 pm

    Price

This model starts at $79,990 for the base model which includes tons of standard features like cedar siding, pine tongue and groove walls inside, kitchen with appliances, and the bathrooms all finished too. Pricey but if you got money instead of time this might be a decent option for you if you’re looking to live simply.
