BKLYN: Mother's Day Green Design Tour Today at 2pm
We’ve been having a great time at this year’s BKLYN Designs discovering new eco-friendly designs from inspired Brooklyn-based designers. Today, we invite you to join us for a unique event, a green design walking tour in celebration of Mother’s Day. Inhabitat editors Jill Fehrenbacher and Abigail Doan will be at BKLYN Designs today at 2pm to lead a Green Design Walking Tour of kid and family friendly furniture, décor, and much more. If you are looking for a great way to celebrate Mom, gain green design insight and meet some of the Inhabitat team, join Jill and Abigail for this wonderful event!
We only have a few spots left for the tour, so if you are interested in joining us, please email us at inhabitat at gmail.com, so we know to expect you.
BKLYN Designs started on Friday, and Inhabitat has been on the scene getting the sustainable design scoop. With Moms and Mother Earth in mind, Jill and Abigail have selected the best earth-friendly designs from the furniture fair for this special Mother’s Day event. Among the highlights of today’s tour are Argington‘s new line of modern kid’s furniture, IglooPLAY‘s playful green designs and sweet, sustainable soft toys from Lotta Jansdotter. There’s plenty more to be discovered in Brooklyn, and the Green Design walking tour is the perfect introduction to the hottest new eco-friendly, family oriented designs at BKLYN Designs this year.
Jill and Abigail will bring a wealth of green design insight, not only on this year’s furniture fair but on living greener and healthier at home. This is going to be an exciting event, filled with lively discussion, fresh ideas and a next generation design perspective. We’ll be honoring all moms, including Mother Earth, in Brooklyn today so do join us! The Mother’s Day Green Design Walking Tour MEETS AT 2pm in front of the Rice Bar in St. Ann’s Warehouse in Brooklyn. See the BKLYN Designs website for more information.
We look forward to seeing you there, Happy Mother’s Day!
