Barcelona-based design studio Lucirmás [4] just launched Dama, a sustainably designed table lamp made from recycled materials by Australian designer Tom Allen [5]. Each Dama lamp is made from a recycled 5-liter glass vessel commonly used to hold wine in Italy. The beech timber base is PEFC certified, and Dama uses a low-energy Plumen [6] 001 light bulb which can last up to eight years. Perfect as a table lamp for a variety of settings, Dama is entirely handmade in Barcelona with the highest attention to detail and craftmanship. Each lamp is also personally numbered.
