Tom Dixon just unveiled a series of dazzling geometric pendant lamps made from 60 triangular polycarbonate lenses. Dixon’s Lens lamps are inspired by Fresnel lenses, which concentrate and refract prismatic bursts of light in all directions.

The Lens is comprised of 12 pentagonal components subdivided into 5 prismatic triangular lenses, which capture more oblique light and allows it to be visible over greater distances. With its geometric oval shape and beautiful detailing, Lens has a sculptural quality that makes a statement. Like Dixon’s new Melt lamps, Lens is extremely versatile and can hang in clusters or as a single light above a dining table.
