Tommaso Guerra [2] is an Italian-born designer with an eye for seeing poetry in everyday objects [3]. Looking past the obvious function of a teapot [4], he created these fairytale-like Teapot Lamps. By keeping the original teapot [5] intact, he honors the object while playing with our preconceptions about the everyday things we surround ourselves with. The organic shape and playful expression of the copper line balances the melancholic feel of the upside-down turned teapot.
