Yet another health problem has been linked to the use of Bisphenol A (BPA) — this time, it’s cavity fillings. A new study from the New England Research Institutes in Watertown finds that kids who have fillings made using BPA are more likely to develop behavior issues. Dental fillings made with BPA are gaining in popularity because they are teeth-colored, as opposed to silver-colored. This of course isn’t the first health issue BPA has been linked to; the common chemical has also been linked to autism, allergies, obesity, hormone imbalances, and cancer.
