Being sceptical about climate change is not unreasonable, doing nothing about it is reckless
The future of energy technology requires ingenuity and creativity. But there are some constants: our best source of energy will be renewable resources and the best one is solar. Eventually technology will lead us to a zero waste society (still a long ways off). Hence, gasification plants will be unnecessary. The long term outlook for nuclear fusion is still unknown and the resulting off processes are still questionable.
The ingenuity of technologists may surprise us. We have yet to see some truly original energy technologies. I am always excited to hear about some new twist on an old theme.
I still assert the need to take advantage of existing technologies and merging them together, until we reach for the still unknown technologies.
Exactly!
