From New York City to Abu Dhabi, Inhabitat has covered a lot of ground in 2011, always with our cameras in hand. This year, we brought you more on-the-ground reporting and original photography than ever before. We covered quirky stories like the world’s largest pumpkin being carved into a creepy zombie sculpture as well as highly anticipated events that the whole world was watching, like the opening of the National 9/11 Memorial. Every opportunity we’ve had to capture green design in the real world has been a thrill, and now we’re taking a look back at our most popular photo posts. Check them out below and vote for your favorite!
