Gallery: TOTO Unveils Poo-Powered ‘Toilet Bike Neo’ Motorcycle!


Yes this is real! Japanese toilet company TOTO just unveiled the ultimate green motorcycle – and it doesn’t run on gasoline or an electric motor. Instead, TOTO’s “Toilet Bike Neo” runs on biogas that is produced from livestock waste. TOTO—which is not technically a motorcycle producer—created the poo-powered motorcycle topped with a toilet to promote TOTO’s environmental efforts.

    A phuket farmer has also developed a cow dung motor bike. His has “no emissions” according to the video. What kind of emissions does TOTO’s Neo have? The Thai farmer got a patent and is looking for funding. He wants to make the technology widely available in developing countries.

    great advocacy but animal waste stinks, can you ride that bike around with those smell? very uncool. But as long as its for TOTOs environmental effort awareness, it definitely caught my attention
