The complex is broken into two buildings, which rise from either end of a block of the ground floor retail. A black rubber façade covers the rectangular office building at one end and in stark contrast a rounded residential tower rises much higher on the other side.

    I’ll believe it when I see it.

    I can photoshop trees onto an otherwise ugly, metal-screen clad building and it would look quite nice too.

    It’s an interesting concept, and it’s good that they’re trying something new, but even in a best case scenario this building will not look as ‘green’ as the renders suggest for many, many years after construction.

    Love it! What a great looking building! I am reminded of the Dragonfly concept for NYC (http://cleanerairforcities.blogspot.com/2009/05/new-yorks-dragonfly-concept.html). It would be cool of the trees for this building were fruit trees.
