HOW TO ENTER

The submission deadline for the PeopleTowels contest is March 11th 2011.

STEP 1

This is to provide you with paramaters to work with for your design. Designs need to be on a white background and can not bleed off edge.

STEP 2

- CREATE YOUR DESIGN

You should ideally create your PeopleTowels design in Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop as vector artworks (.eps). We will also accept high-res raster files but the final printable files from the selected winner need to be either .eps or very high res .tif. Please remember that these designs will be printed on white terry cloth, meaning tiny details will not translate well. We're looking for inspiring, provocative messages around environmental issues related to disposable paper towel waste (deforestation, water, waste, trees, etc), as well as chic, marketable aesthetics that will make people want to purchase your towels.

STEP 3

- COMPLETE FORM BELOW & UPLOAD FILES

Please submit two files as either gifs or jpegs:
1. An 800 pixels wide by 600 pixels tall detailed view of your design on a white background.
2. An 800 pixels wide by 600 pixels tall representation of your design positioned on a cloth towel (download the towel jpeg on which to place this design here)
*all aspects of the design must fit within the 7.5 inch x 7.5 inch square outlined on the template.

AVOID BEING DISQUALIFIED: Designs must be jpegs or gifs and under 1 MB in file size. Incomplete entries and entries including images in non-JPEG or GIF format will not be entered into the judging so follow the instructions so you don't waste your time. *If you are selected as the winner, you will need to be able to submit your design file to us with the following parameters: An .eps file in RGB color with a maximum of 4 colors, and at least 300 dpi for printing. (.eps file must be created in Illustrator.)
