I have to agree with the “green wash” statement, but i do love the design principles of Lotus in general and if i wanted to buy a sports car then the Elise is top of my list, the guys on Top Gear loved the handling.

This car is still a part of the problem. Tesla makes real progress, this is simply a “green wash” of what is otherwise an elitist machine. I know a girl named Elise, and if this performs half as well as she, it’s the best ride on four wheels. Of course “simplicate” is not a word, but hey a lot went into the bullshit about this being a real solution…

The lotus has always been one of my favorite cars- this just puts it over the top. It’s great to see some companies taking a new approach to their car construction, let’s hope it’s more than a trend.
