The Turbine Pendant Lamp [1] is a great example of green design that is incredibly versatile as well. Its thoughtfully conceived form can be appreciated indoors and out — either hanging from the ceiling or sitting on a desk or side table. Made from 2 sheets of recyclable Yupo synthetic paper and two bamboo rods, the simple design is easy to produce and 100% recyclable. Better yet, the entire package can be shipped flat-packed, minimizing environmental impact. If you love the Turbine Lamp’s spiraling design as much as we do be sure to vote for it in our Bright Ideas Lighting Design Competition! [1]
