‘Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the green house “We’re not ready for Christmas yet!” the whole family groused They’d all been too busy working and living Seems like only a day had passed since Thanksgiving! But they knew they still wanted a green holiday So they prepared to celebrate thoughtfully – they could do it in just 1 day!

The youngest in the family logged on to Inhabitat.com For 5 easy green holiday tips to show dad and mom They read all of the helpful hints and once they got the gist It was a piece of cake to put together some green last-minute gifts

They scoured through their pockets and found only dimes So some made DIY gifts and others gave gifts of time Instead of wasteful paper they used festive cloth and tape And to warm themselves up, they sat by their eco-friendly fireplace

After all their green gifts were wrapped and ready to give They came up with green Christmas tree alternatives When they realized how much soda they’d drunk, they knew what they’d do - They assembled a tree made of 400 cans of Mountain Dew!

Then Santa pulled up in his eco-sleigh – what a crazy sight! And said “Happy Christmas to all, and to all a green night.”
