The race to create the world’s lightest bike is hot and heavy in the cycling world – and PG Bikes and Munich Composites just shot towards the front of the pack with their ultralight Blackbraid Bicycle. This streamlined carbon fiber cycle weighs just under 11 pounds without sacrificing durability and strength. Munich Composites developed the bike’s braided carbon technology, which is as stable as steel and weighs less than aluminum. The Blackbraid is now available in a fixed-gear or a 14-speed touring model.

Hemp fiber? If you have a link to an article on this I would been keen to read it.
As for the above this sounds incredible. Is there more on the details of the material Ms. Looman’s?
Soon they\’ll be making them from hemp fiber, which I hear is even lighter and stronger.
