Plenty of daylight reaches the interior thanks to the ubiquitous glazing

Especially concerned to have the smallest environmental impact possible, the design team ensured that most of the site’s existing vegetation was left untouched. The double story home has a gorgeous stone base and a triangular crown that lends an almost futuristic aspect to the entire program.

All of the framed views of the exterior are glazed, ensuring plenty of natural light throughout the year. And a very well insulated steel roof traps any thermal loss. Most of the public functions are designed for the first floor while the upper story is devoted to private rooms. Both respectful of its historical and natural context and delightfully fresh, Under the Moonlight is an enviable place to call home.
