Designer Floris Wubben and artist Bauke Fokkema have taken all the fun of sitting on a real tree trunk and injected it into this wooden chair. Crafted from an inverted willow tree, the chair is supported by a mass of twigs that also makes it look like it’s just growing out of the floor. The follicles and branches of the trunk were twisted and splinted into place to form four legs and the seat and back are carved from the bole, infusing the chair with a natural tree-like silhouette.
