This is an environmental disaster in Philippines most prestigious and sensitive marine park. Considered amongst the top ten dive sites in the world, Tubbataha Reserve is only a small area anyway. US Minesweepers should possess multiple automated systems to locate any obstruction in front of them without the need of personnel all of whom must have been doing something else at the time. What an embarrassment for US Navy and a disaster for the Philippines!
