Boy are a lot of people misinformed on the pipeline.

They think that this is something new.

The U.S. has been importing Canadian Oil for decades and using an existing Trans Canada pipeline that has just recently been completed. This is an extension to the current pipeline and will connect with it.

As far as the tar sands or oil sands in Alberta is concerned the pipeline will also carry oil from the Bakken fields in North Dakota. It's the same type of mining operation as the one in Alberta from oil sands.

Makes me ashamed to be Canadian and relieved I have no children to deal with this mess down the road. Though, I'm sure their future gas masks will come with an iphone-12 holder.
