We love seeing fresh ideas for lighting solutions made from recycled materials, and UK designer James Shaw‘s Jar Lamps are a great example of simple yet innovative recycling. To create these lights Shaw sandblasts glass jars and then drills the lids to accommodate regular light fittings. They can be set upon a freestanding base or hung from a ceiling or wall, making them a snap to incorporate them into any room of the house.
