five floors??? We think not - unless you're Antwerp-based firm
Import Export Architecture. Their multi-tiered mobile urban camping unit is designed to be implanted right into the heart of any city center for a truly unique camping experience. Import Export Architecture says that they see their pop-up, prefab accommodations as a place “where adventurous city wanderers can stay overnight, meet other campers and find a safe shelter with basic designed practical facilities.” Just make sure you don't have an overactive bladder if you plan to bunk on the top level.
“Camping is defined as getting away from an urban area, and enjoying nature, spending one or two nights in a location. As such, the phrase urban camping contradicts itself. Urban camping informally and unexpectedly revealed itself in examples such as parents camping out in front of a school to enroll their kids of Harry Potter Fans camping in front of a store to buy the newest release,” writes IEA of their inspiration for the project.
According to IEA, renewed interest in traveling has led to a rising demand for low-budget accommodations – which really makes sense when you consider the more frugal times we’re living in. The vertical campsites were installed in Copenhagen, Denmark as part of the Outcities project last year and we’re hoping that they’ll come to a city near us soon!

From looking at the way the levels overlap each other, I can see the value of vertical camping – more sites in less horizontal space. This seems like a great way to expand for campgrounds that have run out of land – rather than buying more land which may or may not be adjacent to the current property, the campground can expand vertically!
Absolutly, this is nice urban camping concept. But, I think, the design just for camping experience not for fundamental green structure.
Moreover, I also agreed with eluzyon that we can move the activity from sky to greenyard, but not at all. While the true of metropolian life is limit-space-living then it sound hard to have the private greenyard, except the day in public park.

Sure it’s cool… but they could also camp in the grass near by… so, who want’s to calculate the carbon footprint of all the materials fabrication and transportation, etc etc etc ?
Not green to me, except the fake grass!
